Raccoons: are very smart creatures normally active at night, they can also be a nuisance to any homeowner. Opossum: are the only marsupial in North America. They are mostly solitary, avoiding one another except during the breeding season in late winter. Generally nocturnal will spend the day in hollow tree trunks, rock crevices, underbrush piles or in burrows, they are excellent climbers and good swimmers. Although non-aggressive, opossums have 50 teeth and tend to drool and hiss, leaving the wrong impression to humans.
